Internship Opportunities

At LAV, matters related to the application, selection, internship period, and follow-up of students who wish to complete their internship are standardized through the internship procedure. Within the current year, the application forms of students who apply for an internship and the letter from their schools stating that they are required to complete an internship are accepted by the Human Resources Directorate. Internship quotas are determined in light of the information received from the relevant department managers and supervisors. Applications collected by May at the latest are evaluated according to the departments and quotas determined for that year. As a result of the evaluation, the selected students and their internship periods are submitted to the relevant managers for approval.

Approved students are then subject to an online interview stage. Based on the evaluations, the selected candidates are informed by sending them a letter regarding their internship approval and internship period. Intern students who are accepted to complete their internship spend their internship period mainly within the factory, in the department related to their field of study. In addition, they may also carry out work in relevant departments concerning the topics specified in their internship notebooks. In both cases, the student is supervised by the authorized person of the main department where the internship is conducted. The department supervisor is responsible for explaining matters related to the company, the department where the internship is carried out, and the internship topic to the intern student, organizing the necessary coordination with other units that need to provide information, ensuring that the student has access to the required information, and monitoring the student’s work throughout the internship period.

Students who complete the determined internship period are obliged to fulfill the procedures specified in the internship process after completing the internship notebook that they must submit to their university.

In addition, our company also has a Project-Based Special Internship Program that is implemented and given particular importance. This Project-Based Internship is conducted for undergraduate departments:

Students who wish to participate in the Project-Based Special Internship are required to have completed their 3rd year, have a minimum GPA of 2.50, comply with LAV working rules throughout the internship and project period, and have no circumstances that would prevent them from completing their internship.

During the Project-Based Special Internship, intern students are provided with accommodation in Kütahya, meals, and transportation to the factory. For the Istanbul location, meal and transportation payments are provided. Salary payments based on the minimum wage corresponding to the working days and insurance coverage are provided by the company.

Candidates who wish to participate in the Project-Based Special Internship must apply through the advertisement on career portals and/or submit their applications by fully completing the Internship Application Form. After the applications are reviewed, candidates are selected through an interview process.
